With a keen eye for detail and a lifelong love for retro gaming, Arcade Mania offers their product range to both private and commercial buyers in a bid to reignite the joys of childhood nostalgia and help preserve this culturally significant industry.
Our work with Arcade Mania originally started in 2020 when they contacted us in regards to website development – they were looking to upgrade their site to drive online sales and provide a solid foundation for future SEO efforts. Their new website went live in May 2020 and we commenced with SEO to help grow their organic rankings while also setting up and managing their PPC campaigns.
After a successful two years during which Arcade Mania were able to steadily expand their facilities and workforce, they received an offer for a buyout from an established manufacturing company looking to make in-roads into the classic gaming market. Due to the change in ownership, we paused work in 2022 which ultimately led to the Arcade Mania website dropping organic rankings. However, following a referral from the previous owners, we were contracted to re-commence SEO in 2023.
The key goal behind our management under the new ownership was that we would help to reinstate the organic rankings that Arcade Mania had lost during their 12-month period of inactivity. Once resuming, we provided content development & optimisation across all of their main category pages and much of their product range to re-align the website with online search demand; rapidly boosting the site onto Page 1 for various broad, as well as more specific long-form search terms. Following the next few months of activity, Arcade Mania saw a major increase in their online visibility with their site hitting an all-time high for organic traffic and on-site product sales/leads.
