What is Remarketing?
Remarketing allows you to position advertisements in the view of an audience, consisting of individuals who have previously visited your website. The adverts will appear as they continue to browse elsewhere on the internet. These advertisements can be in either text form or image form.
Google remarketing is done by placing cookies on the machines of your website’s visitors when they match specific criteria, their cookie ID is registered with you and you are free to choose which advertisements they will see whilst on other websites.
For example: if a customer were to go onto your website and, whilst browsing through your website, viewed a product. That customer would then see that specific product from your website in advertisements on other webpages as they browse elsewhere.
