Scruffy Dog Creative (www.scruffydogltd.com) are amongst the world’s premier theme park designers having worked on countless large-scale projects such as Alton Tower’s WickerMan in the UK, Heide Park’s GhostBusters 5D in Germany, and the Laguna Waterpark in Dubai.
Alongside their theme park design services, SDCG are also able to provide planning & design services for museums, waterparks, visitor centers, and FECs, as well as themed interiors and brand activations.
Currently based out of London in the UK, they also have branches in Barcelona, Riyadh, and Dubai allowing them to provide services to clients across the globe.
When we started working with Scruffy Dog Creative Group in 2022, they were heavily reliant on referrals and industry exhibitions to source new work. Since neither of these were a reliable medium for generating a steady amount of enquiries, they were exploring additional channels through which to start conversations with potential customers. They initially reached out to Odyssey with a view to spending 1 day a month with us to improve their organic SEO, however, following a discussion with their marketing manager roughly a year into our work together, we also commenced PPC management. They had been running several Google AdWords campaigns in-house and, following a major upturn in their SEO, wanted our advice on how to refine these for improved performance. On the back of our changes, they experienced a near-immediate increase in their impressions, click-through rates, and conversions. Happy with the enhanced metrics, they entrusted us with the management of their ad campaigns going forward.
In early 2024, Scruffy Dog Creative Group reached out to let us know that they were very satisfied with the improvements to both SEO and PPC and that they wanted to continue their growth in the digital space. They increased our management time to 7 days a month and enlisted our help to grow their other pre-existing brand – M.A.D Model Makers, specialising in props & models, as well as the additional brands that they were planning to launch later in the year; Cuddle Creative Works – brand activation specialists, and Just Because – providers of custom decor and interior design. These brands would also need to have visibility in Spain & The United Arab Emirates as countries where SDCG were already actively providing their services. As such, we provided full website translation functionality alongside PPC campaigns in local languages.
Across these four brands, we have provided branding assistance, paid ads management (across Google & Bing), organic social media posting, social ads management (across Meta & LinkedIn), website maintenance, website translations, as well as our standard SEO procedures including key phrase research, monthly reporting, and auditing.
